What did you want to be when you were little? When my son was in Kindergarten, his class was asked this same question. Some children wanted to be lawyers and doctors, but my son wanted to be a “French Fry Maker!” I was so confused by his answer. I didn’t have anything against people who cook. In fact, I love fries! I just couldn’t think of it as a profession. What did I know? My son saw that person as a hero who in his words “smelled good”.

Today I had the pleasure of sitting down with an amazing local recording artist, D’yonn James. If you are chasing a dream, you want to hear this young man’s story of transformation, redemption, and finally happiness.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
