Today is a special day. International Women’s Day makes me so happy. When I see women celebrating each other, I join the party.

Most people like parties, but the one throwing the party knows it’s a lot of work. We need food, decorations, and people! How sad it would be for the invitation to be ignored? Why didn’t they show up?

Why is it so hard for some women to celebrate each other? There shouldn’t be competition and strife among us, but honor and esteem! When I see the gifts and strength of the women around me, I am encouraged. Through their trials, they teach me to endure. Through their determination, they teach me to never give up. Through their heartbreak, they teach me to love. What’s not to celebrate?

Just in case you haven’t had a party recently, I’m throwing you a party today. You are amazing! If you haven’t arrived to the place you desire, I applaud your press! You are phenomenal! You carry your burdens with grace and dignity. You matter! I couldn’t be who I am without you!

Thank you for being the dynamic woman you are!

Now Elisaveth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son. And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her. Luke 1:57-58

Strengthen. Heal. Empower.
